With over 35 years' experience in the industry, Shane has worked for a number of New Zealand insurance companies in the areas of domestic and commercial insurance. Since joining a predecessor company of FMR Risk over 11 years ago, he has had responsibility for leading a team looking after the domestic insurance arrangements for Auckland East clients.

Shane has extensive experience in the retirement village industry and has developed a number of insurance schemes for village residents and retirement villages and works closely with the Retirement Villages Association advising on insurance related matters.
