Mark began his insurance career in 1984 in London and worked as a broker at Lloyd's of London for 15 years before relocating to New Zealand. During his time in London Mark specialised in international liability business.

Prior to establishing FMR Professions in 2006, Mark held the position of Executive Director with a well known international broking firm where he had overall responsibility for their New Zealand wide liability practice.

FMR Professions' client base now includes numerous professional firms spread throughout the country. Mark's strong technical grounding means that all of FMR Professions' clients benefit from policy wordings that are either exclusive to FMR Professions or tailored to the individual client's requirements.

Mark has retained his international contacts and through these keeps in touch with global market trends and innovation. These relationships also allow FMR Professions to access international insurance markets such as Lloyd's of London and insurers in the USA via strong, well established trading partners.

Mark's passion is to solve problems by thinking outside of the square and he has developed several insurance solutions that have required developing completely new insurance products.
