Liz has become a specialised bloodstock broker who has gained a wealth of experience in insuring all types of horses - Standardbred, Thoroughbred, and Equestrian horses - and more recently developing insurance within the Alpaca industry.

Liz has worked in bloodstock insurance since 2000. Before setting up FMR Bloodstock, she held senior management and brokering positions with a well known bloodstock insurer. Liz has been involved in the Thoroughbred industry for the majority of her working life and therefore is able to understand first-hand the needs of horse owners and how to apply insurance policies to their specific needs.

Liz has obtained several NZQA qualifications towards a Business Studies Degree through Wintech in Hamilton. Liz spent two years working as Administration Manager at Waikato Chamber of Commerce gathering practical knowledge from industry leaders within the Waikato. Liz has been able to use this knowledge together with her horse experience and has enabled her to becoming a competent bloodstock insurance broker.
