Ian has more than 35 years insurance industry experience in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Canada. Ian specialises in programme strategy and design, market negotiation and client/insurer relationships.

Ian's previous roles have included Managing Director, Jardine Group Services, England (1996-1999), CEO, JLT Group Canada (1998 secondment) and Managing Director, JLT Group, New Zealand (1991-1996). In 2000 Ian returned to New Zealand and founded Risk Solutions Limited, which was acquired by FMR Risk in April 2010.

As a shareholder and Director of FMR Risk, Ian is committed to continuing to deliver the highest standard of service and advice to corporate clients.
